February 2020

We are happy to welcome new clients from Germany, Switzerland and Austria with multi-lingual projects involving several Eastern European languages at once, i.e. in our field of expertise. February 2020 was our most successful month in recent months. For the client, handing over a single project to a single project manager saves both money and time. Why money - all projects are done by one person, not several. It's the same with time - our translation agency has enough capacity and resources to start working on any project as soon as they receive an order.

Multilingual projects

This is how we get started with multi-language projects - single client projects in which one document or a batch of documents is translated into several languages. Such orders are becoming more and more numerous to our satisfaction. The aim of the Ost-Express Translation Agency is to cover all our clients' needs for translations into all Eastern European languages as well as the most widely spoken Asian languages. Asia is also the East.

The subjects for the translations remain the traditional ones for our translation company: technology, especially mechanical engineering, but also electronics and control systems. We are able to do quality translations in this field thanks to our large number of selected competent translators. A relatively new field is medicine, pharmaceuticals and medical technology. This is especially true of translations into Russian, where we have a professional team of medical translators - doctors in their first profession.

Translations into individual languages

Translations into individual languages still account for the majority of our projects. They are usually one-off, individual projects commissioned by the customer. Often the machine or line supplied is a unique, customised product for which the technical documentation is also compiled in one single, individual copy. We have quite a few such customers in our customer list.

Nevertheless, we are working together with our customers to reduce the cost of translations, even if they are made on a one-off basis. This applies in particular to translations of documentation for power engineering systems supplied by our client from Germany to Russia, Hungary, Lithuania and Romania. While maintaining the basis of the documentation, the customer changes only certain parameters for each individual order, which enables us to retain the basis in our database during the translation process, translating only new texts and replacing figures and other installation data.

We are pleased to see that many clients update their documentation only after consulting with us, the translators. With our extensive experience in working on such projects we are always able to make the right recommendations to improve the quality of the translations.
